Sofia Individual Differences in Working Memory & Cognitive Load Research Paper Professor’s comments on the proposal: Your proposal is accepted, but please do address the following feedback. Your topic is too broad to cover with the references you have selected. You note this yourself in your “Challenges.” However, your references are interesting. I’m not sure of the value of Hayasha 2018, but it might set a broad frame of issues in consumer purchase decisions, from which you could frame down to one or two. Based on your references, which I assume reflect your interests, I suggest you focus on either cultural and social background, or individual differences in working memory/cognitive load. effects. Otherwise, I’m concerned you paper will be too broad to outline and support some central point. I think Montano & Franco-Watkins (2008) may be your best reference. You might try focusing on that topic, find another reference or two (perhaps look at a few references that those authors cite. If you can relate what you learn from this research to the topics from Kahneman (e.g., system 1 & 2, lazy controller, etc.), then you could have an excellent paper. The Book we are using is Think Fast and Slow. I have attached my proposal below, so please adjust the topic based on professor’s comments and write a 7-10 pages research paper. Project Proposal
