For your final paper, you will be writing about “The Sociological Imagination,” which is a quality of mind that sociology instructors attempt to cultivate in their students.
To prepare for writing your final paper, please read the pdf file “The Sociological Imagination” located in the week 10 lecture folder. This file includes many key passages from C. Wright Mills’ iconic book, The Sociological Imagination. For each passage, think carefully about the message being communicated.
In 200-300 words total, please answer these two questions: What is the sociological imagination? What are the positives and negatives of having a mind possessed by the sociological imagination?
