Adolescence is referred to as a transition stage of both the psychological and physical
development, and it occurs during the transition from puberty to adulthood. In a study by
Hoerman, teenagers have a significant impact on schools than they do at home. This implies that
teenagers are more inclined to be depressed in schools that they would be at home. Low
investment in emotions have increased the events of depression at schools, and at the same time,
parenting has also led to numerous instances of depression. Social isolation is another
contributing factor that has led to depression among teenagers. Sadness is a factor for isolation,
and in this case, separation may not just be a physical attribute, but it can also be emotional
isolation where teenagers have been known to be isolated in mind from the rest of the group.
Alcohol has been known to lead up to 72% of depression instances among teenagers while
