Based on the activities shown in the Table, let us calculate the activities in the following directions:
ES, EF, LS, LF, TF, & FF
If E = 6 – B, and B = 7 – A = 7 – 2 = 5, so
E = 6 – 5 = 1.
If F + B + C = 5 and B = 5, so C = 10 – A = 10 – 2 = 8.
In this relation, F = 5 – C – B = 5 – 8 – 5 = -8
If L + G + H = 6, so L = 6 – G – H
In this relation, G = 12 – I – F
If J + F = 5, so J = 5 – F = 5 – (-8) = 13
If G + C + D = 8, so G = 8 – C – D, and when D = 4 – A = 4 – 2 = 2, so G = 8 – 8 – 2 = -2.
If H + D = 9, so H = 9 – D = 9 – 2 = 7.
So, L = 6 – G – H = 6 – (-2) – 7 = 6 + 2 – 7 = 1.
K = 5 – E – J = 5 – 1 – 13 = -9.
I = 12 – F – G = 12 – (-8) – (-2) = 22.
If M + F + H = 4, so M = 4 – F – H = 4 – (-8) – 7 =12 – 7 = 5.
If N + I + K + L + M = 3, so N = 3 – I – K – L – M = 3 – 22 – (-9) – 5 = 3 – 22 + 9 – 5 = -15.
Let us calculate the total duration of the project that will be the sum of all elements:
A + B + C + D + E + F + G + H + I + J + K + L + M + N = 2 + 5 + 8 + 2 + 1 + (-8) + (-2) + 7 + 22 + 13 + (-9) + 1 + 5 + (-15) = 32 days.
Therefore, the period for total project completeness will be estimated for approximately 1 month.
The activity of EF = 1 + (-8) = -7; LF = 1 – 8 = -7; FF = – 8 + (-8) = – 16.

1. The activity G can be delayed for 2 days,
2. The activity of M can be extended for 2 days.
3. The activity of K can be delayed for 9 days.
4. Since the material of L should be purchases in bulk, however, there is short of space on site, the material should be delivered just right before it needs to be used, without any delay.
5. The planned duration for the activity of H is 7 days, so even if the project subordinator is 4 days late, it will be ok, for he can arrange his work in the next 3 days since he has arrived.
6. The planned duration for the activity E is just 1 day, so if the project sub coordinator is 5 days late, it will have a great impact, and the activity may fail.
7. The schedule can be properly used as a tool for the management purposes for this project, for the table of schedule shows the complete duration of each stage of this project. It helps to figure out how to control the overall process of project completion and appoint executives in accordance to the set goals.

Part B. Second floor details
The move of employees from one floor to another is better to be completed over the weekend, in the period of Sat-Sun, so that they can start working on Monday (business day). The construction of the first floor will be finished on 5 June 2015. It will be on Friday. Therefore, the move of employees will be arranged on 6 (Sat) and 7 (Sun) June 2015. The employees will start to complete the renovation of the second floor directly on Monday, 8 June 2015. The employees will finish the renovation of the second floor on Friday 23 October 2015. However, the contract may be extended up to 1 Sep 2016, the date of the project completion.
