Iran is always the country that support termism, as we can see in Yemen they help the Houthi, in Bahrain they support they Shia scholars finically because the ruler of the government is Sunni. Also, in Syria the want Bashar Al Assad still in power because his party is Allawi which is Shia. Finally, I want to proof that Iran is starts the problem with Saudi form example, -Iran began openly condemning Saudi Arabia’s religious authority and support for the US.

– In the late 80s, Iraq and Iran war. Saudi and US were supporting Iraq.

By examining the direct conflicts between Saudi Arabia and Iran (including oil policies, nuclear programs, weapons purchases from USA and Russia, etc.) and indirect conflicts between Saudi Arabia and Iran (proxy wars in Lebanon [or Bahrain], Yemen, and Syria), this paper will show which country is winning this cold war in the Middle East and how that affects the ongoing Sunni-Shia rivalry.

At the present time, Saudi Arabia is the most influential country representing the Sunni faction, while Iran functions as the world’s dominant Shia state. Conflicts currently occurring in Bahrain, Yemen, and Syria can be viewed as proxy wars between Saudi Arabia and Iran as well as the two branches of Islam each country represents, By examining the origin of the Sunni/Arab and Shia/Persian spilt analyzing those there wars, and placing them within the historical context, this paper will demonstrate which side seems to be winning the competition and what might occur in the future
