Technological Innovations for Policing and Crime Prevention Paper For our next project, you will write a short, 3-4 page Issue Analysis Report (IAR) on an issue, problem or trendassociated with your major. The report’s primary purpose is to informthe reader about the issue and offer some level of analysis. For this project, we’ll use a popular business communication textbook’s “middle-ground” definition: “A business report is an orderly and objective communication of factual information that serves a business purpose.You’ll be writing to an executive who needs the information you present in order to make a decision (her purpose). Your report should provide her with background information and a brief discussion of the major points, or “factors” surrounding the issue so that she will understand the issue’s basic contours. She is intelligent, but is generally unaware of the issue, trend or problem, and expects you to use a formal tone in the report. Will give more directions.
